Lévis, September 9th, 2015 – In the presence of the MNA for Lévis, François Paradis, the city councillors Serge Côté and Ann Jeffrey and numerous partners and guests, Groupe Transrapide, company affiliated to the Groupe Huot, carried with pride the ground breaking ceremony and the presentation of Complexe Transrapide, its new commercial project in Lévis. This new building represents an investment of $ 5 million.

Lévis, September 9th, 2015 – In the presence of the MNA for Lévis, François Paradis, the city councillors Serge Côté and Ann Jeffrey and numerous partners and guests, Groupe Transrapide, company affiliated to the Groupe Huot, carried with pride the ground breaking ceremony and the presentation of Complexe Transrapide, its new commercial project in Lévis. This new building represents an investment of $ 5 million.

Concordant with the National Trucking Week currently taking place, the unveiling of this major project allows to announce the creation of new jobs for drivers, mechanics and dispatchers for Groupe Transrapide. The Complexe will also help boost the economy by offering more commercial space.

« This new building of 35,000 ft2, including 11,000 ft2 to be used by Groupe Transrapide, centralizes operations and maintenance. A bigger surface area and the fact that it is adapted to our needs will also optimize how the company functions », says general manager of Groupe Transrapide, Guy Montminy.

Complexe Transrapide should be completed by mid-December 2015 and the construction is conducted by Millenum Construction, another Groupe Huot affiliated company.
